Product Description

Single girder LX type suspension overhead crane is usually on I-beams or similar structures. Its crane running wheels are directly suspended under these steels and moving along their lower edges. This allows the overhead crane to use the existing building structure as support. Therefore, it reduces the cost of building additional ground tracks. Because of the suspension structure, it does not require an additional crane track support structure, this makes its overall structure lighter and more flexible, but also limits its maximum load-bearing capacity.

The single-girder suspension overhead crane is suitable for limited spaces or areas where a ground rail system is unavailable or impractical — for example, old factory renovation projects or applications where lifting capacity requirements are moderate and cost savings are a priority. Unlike general overhead cranes, suspension overhead cranes offer a simpler structure and easier maintenance. The main hoisting mechanism adopts a CD/MD type electric wire rope hoist.

Single girder suspension overhead crane is widely used in industries such as machinery manufacturing, automobile industry and food processing. It is mainly used in factories, warehouses, docks, and other places where materials need to be frequently moved. It is also suitable for places with medium and low load requirements, such as parts assembly lines, warehousing and logistics, etc.

Unlike ground-supported cranes, it is hung directly from the factory/warehouse roof beams via end trucks. No more floor tracks or support columns are needed. Floor space can be used for equipment storage or worker operations. So it is ideal for facilities with limited horizontal space.
