Description
The single beam gantry crane is a general lifting equipment with simple structure. It is a popular using gantry crane in many different working sites. Normally, it plays a vital role in workshops, warehouses and construction sites for material handling. Taking electric hoist as the lifting mechanism, single beam gantry crane could perform tasks with high efficiency and stability.
The main beam is a horizontal beam at the top of the crane and is the core load-bearing component of the gantry crane. Its main function is to support the electric lifting hoist and bear the weight of the lifted objects. Two legs are vertical parts connected to both ends of the main beam to form a "gate" shaped frame. They provide stable support for the gantry crane, allowing it to move on the ground or on rails.
The traveling mechanism is wheel or drive system at the bottom of the outriggers. It enables gantry crane to move horizontally along the ground or a dedicated track to expand the operating range. And its safety devices include limit switches, emergency stop buttons, overload protectors and other components.
