Description

Single girder truss gantry crane is a specific type of gantry crane. It combines the advantages of single beam structure with the advantages of truss beam design. This type of truss gantry crane is usually for light to medium loads. Single truss gantry crane has the characteristics of light weight, compact structure and easy disassembly and assembly.

The main load-bearing component is a single crossbeam designed with a truss structure. The truss is a structure with multiple triangular frames. It can not only effectively reduce the overall weight of the crane, but also improve its rigidity and stability. Its outriggers support the main beam and secure it to the ground track, allowing the gantry to move along the track. Depending on the specific design requirements, the outriggers can be fixed or have wheels for easy movement. The lifting mechanism of single truss gantry crane is CD/MD type electric wire rope hoist.

The traveling mechanism is wheel or drive system at the bottom of the outriggers. It enables gantry crane to move horizontally along the ground or a dedicated track to expand the operating range. And its safety devices include limit switches, emergency stop buttons, overload protectors and other components.
